Venezuela, 30 dic 2022 (ATB Digital). – Una mayoría de exdiputados opositores venezolanos aprobó el viernes la reforma del estatuto para la transición que contempla la eliminación del autodenominado gobierno interino que lidera Juan Guaidó desde 2019.
“Total de votos: 72 votos a favor, 29 votos en contra, ocho votos salvados”, expresó José Antonio Figueredo, quien funge como secretario de la Asamblea Nacional (parlamento unicameral), que funciona de forma paralela al órgano legislativo, de mayoría oficialista, electo en el 2021 y que es reconocido por todas las instituciones del Estado.
Los exdiputados realizaron la votación durante una sesión extraordinaria que se llevó a cabo de forma virtual.
La sesión estaba prevista para el miércoles y posteriormente la difirieron para el 3 de enero de 2023, pero debido a reclamos de los dirigentes, finalmente fue realizada el viernes.
El 22 de diciembre, los dirigentes habían aprobado en primera discusión la eliminación del gobierno interino, con 72 votos a favor, 23 en contra y nueve abstenciones, tras una propuesta presentada por los partidos políticos Primero Justicia, Acción Democrática, Un Nuevo Tiempo y Movimiento por Venezuela.
En ese entonces, los dirigentes de las organizaciones políticas señalaron que el gobierno interino debía desaparecer tras haberse debilitado y no cumplir con los objetivos.
Sin embargo, indicaron que mantendrán las juntas ad hoc de Petróleos de Venezuela S.A (Pdvsa) Holding, en la empresa Citgo, con sede en Estados Unidos, la del Banco Central de Venezuela (BCV) y la Asamblea Nacional para legislar solo sobre temas relacionados a la protección de los activos del Estado bloqueados en el exterior.
Además, prevén crear una comisión ejecutiva para la representación de la defensa de los activos en el exterior.
Guaidó se autoproclamó presidente interino de Venezuela en el 2019, con el apoyo del Gobierno de Estados Unidos.
